We held World Book Day in school on Thursday 2nd March 2023. This year we did things a little differently and instead of dressing up as their favourite book character the children were asked to make a prop from their book. They then gave a short explanation of their book using their prop! P1/2 then began to plan for ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’. The children made tiger masks, their own sandwiches, buns and thoroughly enjoyed our themed tea party. Mrs Leeke then read the story of 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea'.
